Bulls keep Kane distracted

Kane says he isn’t watching much of the NHL playoffs, but is ‘a huge Bulls fan’

For Blackhawks star Patrick Kane having the season end in April is a new experience, and when we caught up with him he made it clear that it is something that he never wants to experience again.

“Last year was a up and down year personally and for the team. Next year I’m looking forward to returning healthy, becoming one of the top players in the NHL and, ultimately, returning the Stanley Cup back to Chicago,” he said. “The team and myself personally have a lot of motivation to do these things.”

So is Kane, a sports nut who was spotted at Game 2 of the Bulls-Hawks series wearing a Bulls jersey, watching a lot of NHL playoff hockey? “It’s hard to watch,” he told us, “because we aren’t playing but I am watching a little. I am watching all of the Bulls games though. I’m a huge Bulls fan.”
